Ever since I was a child I have loved working with my hands to create things.  My grandmother, an artist and a teacher, gave me my first camera.  She took me on trips and encouraged me to have fun taking photos.  She also helped me explore many different forms of visual art.  No matter what else I was doing, I took along a camera and documented what I saw.  And my favorites were the everyday scenes of life around me.   Although I have taken many classes, I am mostly self-taught.
Pepper Run Studio began with a focus on the creative arts in Blacksburg, Virginia. The name was inspired by the Pepper Run Creek that flowed nearby.
I love to travel and my favorite subjects include the unique small villages in Europe. With my images, I want to show my impressions of the beauty of these small villages and the surrounding areas - in ordinary life: the markets, the cafés, flowers, the doors, the windows, and life!

I am a member of the Beaches Photography Club, The Cultural Center at Ponte Vedra, and the Jacksonville Coalition for Visual Arts.  My work has been shown in many juried exhibits in galleries and also juried fine arts festivals.
"I gives me no greater joy than to share my love of life through my photography!"
